RJD on Tuesday expressed serious concern over large-scale transfer of officials just ahead of the announcement of dates for Bihar assembly elections on Monday, and demanded suitable action by EC .
In a two-page letter submitted to the state's chief electoral officer, the party said the transfers were "not only against established rules but also highlights the political pressure and misuse of power".
