In the past 24 hours, several users reported of service disruptions for these social media platforms. A report from Mirror said that Instagram users encountered difficulties with posting and loading comments. Meanwhile, Facebook users primarily reported issues with logging into the platform.

The service interruptions reportedly started on March 25 at approximately 9 am ET, impacting over 4000 Instagram accounts. Downdetector data shows that 63% of Instagram-related complaints involve problems with comment loading, and 30% pertain to general app malfunctions. On the Facebook side, 44% of users reported website-related issues, while 33% experienced difficulties logging into the social network. Facebook and Instagram users in India didn't see much disruption with peak report on Downdetector stood at some 160 users.
