Following her public apology, Apoorva Mukhija shares a cryptic post and says, "there is always light"

Apoorva Mukhija, the social media influencer famous as The Rebel Kid, following the Latent controversy, maintained a distance from social media for quite some time. However, now Apoorva has finally made a comeback, and as her first post, she shared a public apology on her YouTube channel. She broke down in the post where she narrated the entire incident, from the point when she was invited to what happened during the show and then after. She even highlighted the rape and death threats that she received amid the row, and how she navigated through the tough days. Following the public apology, she shared a cryptic post on her social media.

Taking to the Gram on Friday, Apoorva shared a picture of her smiling in the rain. She was seen wearing a blue fur jacket and grey skirt in the picture. Along with the photograph, she wrote a caption tha read - "Even in the gloomiest of skies there is always light (sic)," with a red heart emoji.

Her social media post was received with beautiful comments. Several encouraged her to move on. "This comeback is personal for "puri aurat jaat" (sic)," wrote a user, while another netizen commented, "Loving the vibes, it's giving sweetest comeback (sic)."

Apoorva Mukhija’s public apology
In her apology, Apoorva shared that everyone told her not to talk about the India’s Got Latent row ever and to move on like it never happened. However, she chose to do otherwise. She received massive backlash over her comments on the India's Got Latent show.

In her video, Apoorva said that she never intended to offend anyone. Though she really wanted to look funny and cool on the show, her remarks that were called the most controversial came out because of pure rage, as she was offended by the comments made by contestants. Nevertheless, she said she saw the show and accepts that a lot of things she said were not in good taste, and she extended a heartfelt apology for the same.

Following the outrage, Apoorva wiped her Instagram clean, and in her first post, she shared screenshots of some of the threats she received.
