Chahatt Khanna, best remembered for her role as Ayesha Sharma in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, is all set to make a comeback on the small screen after nearly a decade. She was last seen on TV in an episode of Darr Sabko Lagta Hai in 2015. During her time away from television, she has kept busy exploring opportunities in films and on the web.
While she chooses to remain tight-lipped about the project and her role, she says, “Well, something really nice is on the horizon, and I can’t wait to return to TV. Television has given me so much, and I will always be grateful for that. After almost 10 years, this medium is calling me back, and I am excited. Soon, more information about my new show and role will be revealed. I just hope that I receive the same love and attention as before. Fingers crossed!”

In addition to television shows, the actress has appeared in films such as Thank You, Prassthanam, and Yaatris.
In a previous interview with us, while talking about her reasons for staying away from television, she said, “I haven’t bid goodbye to TV; it is my home. Television has made me what I am today, and it is my backbone. So, TV se meri loyalty pehle hai. TV is a very strong medium, but content sudharna padega makers ko. I do not understand how the masses are able to relate to content like naagin, makkhi and chudail on TV when the same viewers are watching a show like Delhi Crime? I do get offers for TV and I will be working on the medium if I get a show like Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. TV producers want to make good content, but business wise they are giving what the audiences are liking as per the ratings.”
