VISAKHAPATNAM: Amazon .in recorded a double-digit quarter-over-quarter growth in the home, kitchen, and outdoors business, said K N Srikanth, director, home, kitchen, and outdoors, Amazon India . Speaking to media in Visakhapatnam on Monday, Srikanth said that growth in the demand for solar panels by 95% QoQ was witnessed, indicating a shift in customer preference towards sustainable lifestyles .
“Customers in Vizag and Andhra Pradesh also showcased an increasing preference towards purchasing home improvement products online, wherein home decor accents grew by more than 90% QoQ in Vizag and approximately 80% QoQ in Andhra Pradesh. Furthermore, inclination towards convenient home and kitchen products across Vizag and automation across Andhra Pradesh majorly drove product selection amongst the customers in these regions.
