John Amores, a basketball player from the Philippines, is reportedly wanted after being involved in a shooting incident in the Laguna region of the Philippines. Amores plays as a guard for the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) team NorthPort Batang Pier. As per reports from local media, Amores allegedly shot an individual after a basketball game. SPIN.ph reported that Amores was involved in a heated altercation with an individual named Lee Cacalda. Amores then followed Cacalda on motorcycle and shot him with an unknown firearm. CCTV footage of the incident surfaced, which showed that it happened at National Road of Laguna's Lumban. However, no one was injured in the shooting. Here's the CCTV footage:

Prior to joining the PBA he gained attention in local basketball circles for both his athletic skills and controversies.For the 2023-2024 season, Amores has participated in 19 games, averaging 7.8 minutes per game. His performance includes 3.26 points per game with a field goal percentage of 44.7%.
