US Election 2024 Exit Polls: What Do Voters Say As Trump vs Harris Nears End

First early exit poll day is out. As Donald Trump and Kamala Harris faced voters at the polls on Tuesday, Fox News Voter Analysis asked Americans about the direction of the country. About 70% of respondents said the US is on the wrong track. The survey added that only 13% admitted that their family is 'getting ahead' in the current economy.ABC's preliminary exit poll found that voters are concerned about economy, 'sharp divsions about the country's future and polarized views of the major-party candidates'.Read More: Preliminary results from an exit poll conducted by Edison Research showed that 47% of voters in Pennsylvania said they had a favorable view of Trump, and 51% viewed him unfavorably. The former president bettered his numbers in comparison to 2020.

The survey added that 30% of voters in the state said the economy mattered most. 12% said immigration, 15% abortion, 33% the state of democracy, 3% foreign policy. Edison Research further showed that 50% of voters in Pennsylvania said their family's financial situation was worse off than it was four years ago. 73% of voters said they think democracy in the United States is threatened.Read More: What are exit polls?
