We were the first to report that Prabhas’s upcoming film Fauji (tentatively titled) will commence shooting in September. Sources close to the unit says that the filmmakers have already commenced shooting for the project in Madurai. However, Prabhas has not joined the sets; director Hanu Raghavapudi is filming scenes on support cast.
Shooting In MaduraiAfter the film was grandly launched last month in Hyderabad, the filmmakers shot for a few scenes before moving to Madurai for a lengthier schedule. Prabhas is meanwhile prepping up and will undergo a slight makeover for his part. He is likely to resume shooting in Hyderabad schedule next month, but the team hasn’t confirmed the news yet. For the first time, Prabhas plays a solider on screen and it’s the character design and set up was what impressed him. Imanvi plays one of the leading ladies in the film. Fauji Is Set In 1940’sThe poster of the historical fiction drama set in 1940’s was released during the launch with a caption, “When wars were a battle for supremacy, ONE WARRIOR redefined what they were FOUGHT for. According to the filmmakers, not every historical event resonates with our emotions and thoughts. But this story is written by a warrior to bring justice to people of his mother land. “This historical fiction/ alternate history set in the 1940’s is the tale of a warrior who rose from the shadows, emerging from a society that believed war was the only answer to the buried injustices and forgotten truths that history kept hidden from the world.”You may also like
