The NEET UG counselling schedule for 2024 has been updated in states, aligning with revisions in the All India Quota (AIQ) counselling by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). State medical councils have released new counselling dates for admission to 85 per cent of state quota seats in MBBS and BDS programmes, following approval from the National Medical Commission (NMC) for additional courses and colleges. NEET UG Counselling 2024: How to Register Step 1: Go to the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) at mcc.nic.in. Step 2: Navigate to the ‘UG Medical’ section. Step 3: Choose the ‘New Login Registration’ option on the candidate activity board. Step 4: Enter your NEET UG roll number, password, and security pin when prompted. Step 5: Fill out the application form completely and submit it. Step 6: Proceed to pay the registration fee. Step 7: Download and print or screenshot a copy of the form for future reference. The counselling schedule has been revised to accommodate additional seats, as outlined on the official website. According to an official notice from the MCC, 'The competent authority has decided to extend the Round-2 schedule for UG Counselling 2024 and adjust subsequent rounds to include newly allocated seats, following the issuance of fresh Letters of Permission (LoPs) by NMC/MoHFW. Candidates can register on the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in. Those who were not allotted a seat in the first round are encouraged to apply now. The results for seat allotment will be declared on September 19, and selected candidates must report to their colleges for admission and document verification.
