Melania Trying To 'Take Down' Donald Trump? 'The View' Host Sunny Hostin's Fiery Claim

Sunny Hostin, host of ABC's morning talk show 'The View,' is under fire on social media for claiming without evidence that Melania Trump, the wife of former president Donald Trump, 'hates' the latter over his stance on abortion. Hostin, 55, claimed Thursday on her show that it's 'a given' Melania Trump 'hates' her husband, Donald and wants to 'take him out.'The former first lady, a staple by her husband's side during his tenure at the White House, has been absent from the 78-year-old's campaign events this time around. She last appeared at the Republican National Convention where Trump was nominated as the GOP candidate for president. Speaking about Melania Trump, Hostin said: "She does not want to be the First Lady anymore. She doesn’t want to be the First Lady. She destroyed the Rose Garden. Who hates Christmas? Melania Trump hates Christmas. She doesn’t want to decorate for Christmas. She doesn’t want anything to do with him. She doesn’t want to sleep in the same room with him. She can’t tolerate him.”However, she did not provide any evidence or sources to back her claims. Trump War Room, the official X account of Donald Trump's 2024 presidential campaign, called Hostin's claims 'disgusting.' They wrote in a post on X: "This is your modern Democrat Party, folks."The fact that Hostin did not provide any evidence or source seemed to irk 'The View' co-host Whoopi Goldberg, who immediately pointed out that all of what she said are allegations. “You don't know all this,” Goldberg said. However, that did not stop her from further reinforcing her theory about an alleged rift between Melania and Donald Trump. Social media users, especially Trump supporters, did not take it lightly. They reacted sharply to the claims and criticised the ABC host."No, Sunny. We cannot all agree on that. Sunny Hostin is a racist & extremely ignorant," one user said.
