A massive that will feature a pool, shows, water parks, and thousands of cabins is all set to make its debut in Europe. Touted as the world's new largest cruise ship, the Legends of the Sea will sail from Port of starting July 2026.
The new giant of the shipping line measures 365 meters in length. The ship will have 2,814 cabins with a capacity for more than 7,600 passengers and up to 3,000 crew members. Its first itinerary will visit emblematic Mediterranean destinations such as Palma, Marseille, La Spezia, Rome, and Naples for seven nights, with tickets from €1,410 euros (£1,213) per person.
Travellers on the cruise ship will be able to enjoy an experience of a floating city of entertainment and luxury, according to reports.
The cruise ship will reportedly have 20 decks, seven pools, water parks with record-breaking slides, ten whirlpools and themed dining areas.
Some family cabins will even feature indoor slides designed so that little ones can enjoy themselves without leaving their rooms, reports
The most impressive attraction of the ship will be Category 6. It will be the largest water park at sea, with six record-breaking slides, including the first free-fall water slide to open in the ocean.
While the world's largest cruise ship, Icon of the Seas, made its debut in the Caribbean - with its upcoming sister ship, Star of the Seas, set to do the same - Legend will set sail with a series of seven-night cruises through the Western Mediterranean.
The line's Chief Marketing Officer Kara Wallace told : "Icon's been so successful, and we know all of our guests around the world, specifically in Europe, have been waiting and asking, when will they get their opportunity to see and try an Icon class ship.
"So, being able to offer more variety in the ports of call, while also having that variety in terms of all of the things that you can do on board, is really what will make this the ultimate family vacation."
