Shoppers who are due a phone upgrade might well have their eyes on the brand new iPhone, but as with any flagship model, it can cost a pretty penny. Shoppers can now save up to £400 on Apple's iPhone 17 Pro at Vodafone when they trade in their old phone, thanks to Vodafone.

With Vodafone, the iPhone 17 Pro is available from £52 (before any data is added). Plus, when shoppers trade in their current phone, they'll save up to £400, helping to bring the price down even more. Prices to pair the 256GB device with an unlimited amount of data start from £68 per month, with a £40 upfront fee, and are split across a 36-month contract.

The star of the show of the new range is the Cosmic Orange colourway, which is exclusive to the iPhone 17 Pro range. The model is also available in Silver and Deep Blue, if shoppers would prefer a more muted tone.

The iPhone 17 Pro Features include Apple's powerful A19 Pro chip with lightning-fast performance, a 48MP Fusion rear camera system with the longest zoom ever on iPhone and a new Centre Stage front camera. This is said to be perfect for group selfies.

It is also said to have up to four hours longer battery life than the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and it runs on the latest iOS 26 with advanced Apple Intelligence features. Our tech team has reviewed the flagship iPhone 17 Pro Max, which you can read here.

With the Vodafone XChange program, consumers are able to upgrade their iPhone a year early every year, on top of the £400 saving available when a trade is made. Plus, Vodafone customers also will benefit from two networks in one with this deal, as they also have access to Three's network at no extra cost, boosting coverage across the country.

If shoppers would prefer something other than an iPhone, there are other options out there for those looking an upgrade. For example, O2 has the new Samsung S25 Ultra 5G with 36 month contracts with 50GB of data starting at £49.96 per month with a £30 upfront fee.

Another option is the flagship Google Pixel 10 Pro, which EE has available on a 24 month contract with 5GB data for £25 per month with a £30 upfront cost. Of course, the iPhone 17 Pro isn't the only device in Apple's flagship range and we've rounded up the deals on other models too.

As the iPhone 17 Pro is new, it doesn't have any direct reviews, but customers have taken to Trustpilot to share their experiences with Vodafone as a brand. One said: "Came in this morning to sort out the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Easy to trade in my current iPhone and got it on order within minutes. Got all my stuff sorted with Vodafone. Top service as usual."

Another said: "Great service for setting up my new iPhone." A third person wrote: "Excellent and top quality service, helped set up my new iPhone and transferred everything over with no hassle. Explained everything I needed to do it complete the set up, couldn't have been more helpful!"

Some people had differing opinions, as one person said: "The network itself has decent coverage, although the 3G signal is not as good in certain areas as other networks. I found customer service quite unhelpful when experiencing problems tethering on my iPhone."

Another said: "I am not overly impressed with the service I receive from Vodafone. The only reason my contract is with them is because I was able to get an iPhone on a decent package without paying over the odds."
