Yellowstone showrunner Taylor Sheridan's other riveting drama starring a Hollywood heavyweight has been given an exciting update ahead of its third season.
Tulsa King, led by legendary Rocky Balboa star Sylvester Stallone as crime lord Dwight 'the General' Manfredi, will officially return on Sunday, 21st September on Paramount+.
Ahead of the first episode, and following a jaw-dropping cliffhanger ending to season two, Paramount has released a new poster and first-look teaser trailer revealing what's to come.
The 30-second teaser reveals Dwight has targeted a distillery as a possible new venture for his crime empire.
Following a shocking twist ending in which Dwight is pulled out of bed at gunpoint and told by a mysterious figure, "You work for us now", the General is still trying to claw his way back to the top while avoiding more jail time.
However, there's no shortage of unexpected hurdles as one scene in the trailer sees Dwight face off with Bill Bevilaqua (played by Frank Grillo), pointing a gun and demanding to know if Bill thinks he's a 'rat'.
The trailer also teases the return of Sheridan's former Yellowstone star Neal McDonough as rival kingpin Cal Thresher.
A synopsis for season three reads: "As Dwight's empire expands, so do his enemies and the risks to his crew.
"Now, he faces his most dangerous adversaries in Tulsa yet: the Dunmires, a powerful old-money family that doesn't play by old-world rules, forcing Dwight to fight for everything he's built and protect his family."
Moreover, joining the cast this year is iconic movie star Samuel L Jackson as Russell Lee Washington Jr.
His character will be moving from Tulsa to New Orleans to head up his own spin-off, NOLA King.
If you haven't been convinced to tune into the gripping crime saga so far, the drama's overwhelming number of five-star Google reviews prove it's well worth catching up ahead of the new season.
One fan described it as "Deep, genuine & addictive" and admitted it was the only show that "made me subscribe to Paramount plus".
Another fan said of the first outing: "Highly addictive. This show and the characters draw you in.
"Stallone and his misfit mafia crew, with a backdrop of Tulsa are a nice combination. Ready for season 2."
And a third agreed: "Was glued to the TV and binged in one day. Enjoyed every bit and everything fits and straight to the point, issues don't drag out too long."
Tulsa King season 3 premieres Sunday, 21st September on Paramount+.
