Where you have seen Coronation Street Mason's brother star before - including rival soap

Send Push

's Mason Radcliffe's brother makes his entrance this week - and the actor is no newcomer to the soap world.

Mason (Luca Toolan), the bad boy, arrived on the cobbles in 2023 - and it didn't take him long to stir up a lot of drama.

Soap fans were shocked as they saw him terrorise Maria Connor's (Samia Longchambon) young son, Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall), to the point where Liam even contemplated suicide.

However, in April, Mason was sent to a Young Offenders centre for threatening Liam with a knife. A few months later, in July, Mason was back on the cobbles, having been released.

His return caused quite a stir - with Liam and Dylan left rattled. Meanwhile, Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) has shown sympathy for Mason, securing him a job at his restaurant, insisting that Mason is trying to change his ways, reports The Mirror.

And this week on the soap, Mason's brother Logan (Harry Lowbridge) made his debut, having previously been referred to as having a violent temper.

During Friday's episode (October 11), Logan arrived on the cobbles and observed Mason from his car down the street. Mason pointed out to Stu that his brother was watching him.

However, Logan sped away before Stu could reach him. For Logan actor Harry Lowbridge, this isn't his first soap appearance. He is currently appearing on rival soap BBC Doctors, playing Max Barnett.

Harry Lowbridge revealed his enthusiasm upon joining the cast of the Birmingham-set soap show, announcing on social media: "I will be joining Coronation Street as Logan Radcliffe!

"Super grateful for this opportunity. Let's see what he has in store for little bro Mason! Time to cause some chaos. Logan's coming."

Fellow stars from the show extended a warm welcome on their social platforms, with Liam McCheyne, who portrays Dylan Wilson, commenting: "Another Radcliffe. Congratulations Harry Lowbridge."

Additionally, Adam Hussain, known as Aadi Alahan on-screen, chimed in with: "Welcome to the street."

Luca Toolan, portraying Mason in the series, earlier disclosed that there would be explorations into Mason's past. He shared insights, saying: "I think this is the kind of abuse Mason has faced his whole life which unfortunately is what has shaped him into the kind of person he is today.

"I think once Mason is fully back on screen, we will see little nuggets of things which we will be able to explore further into his backstory and give a clearer insight into his family life."
