Meghan Markle has made a major announcement on Wednesday evening, just hours ahead of her estranged brother-in-law, Prince William's appearance at this year's Earthshot Prize awards in Brazil. The Duchess of Sussex took to her official Instagram account to share a very exciting update regarding her lifestyle brand, As Ever.
Meghan's brand will now sell in a physical store for the first time, just days after it launched its festive collection. The store in question is Goodmothers, a bookstore in Summerland, California, located just a few miles away from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's home in Montecito.
The couple have attended various events at the bookstore in the last year and have a close relationship with its founders, Victoria Jackson and Jennifer Rudolph Walsh.
In the time-lapse video uploaded on her stories, Meghan can be seen arranging her stock in the bookstore with the caption: "About last night."
Meghan is casually dressed in jeans, a light blue shirt and black loafers.
In another image, As Ever's stock can be seen placed in the boostore, featuring many of the brand's hot drink mixes, candles and jam.
This is the first time fans will be able to purchase As Ever's stock at a physical store.
Meghan has previously expressed her vision to expand.
Speaking recently at Fortune's Most Powerful Women Summit in Washington DC , Meghan said: "My intention would be to have really bespoke, small retail collaborations."
It comes as Prince William is preparing to give a major speech at this year's Earthshot Prize Awards in Rio de Janeiro.
The Earthshot Prize is the heir's cornerstone of his ambitious drive to save the planet.
