Labour's too preoccupied emptying pensioners' pockets to care about record migrant influx

It is clear Labour are too preoccupied with cutting winter fuel payments, undermining British farming, and increasing taxes to address the nations most urgent issue: illegal immigration.

Small boat crossings this past week have once again reached an all time high.

Starmers new plan to tackle immigration and the small boats crisis consists of declaring the border crisis a "national security" issue, proposing an elite team of investigators, and a vow to "end gimmicks." However, contrary to this promise, his latest plan appears to be largely a performative gimmick itself.

This plan is nothing more than a publicity stunt and a poor attempt to put this government's criticisms to rest.

Since the 7th of July 19,000 migrants have crossed illegally. We have seen an average of 1022 each week, higher than the average in 2022 which was previously the record holder.

This isn't just a statistic - it's a crisis that affects every aspect of British life, from housing to public services to community cohesion. Over 400 hotels across the country have been repurposed to accommodate migrants, and communities are feeling the strain.

This isn't just an oversight; it's a dereliction of duty by both Labour and the Conservatives, who have failed to enforce our borders and protect the nation from this unprecedented crisis.

Both Labour and the Conservatives are not only incompetent but seem indifferent to the gravity of this border crisis. For them, securing our borders simply isn't a priority.

Despite Labour leader Keir Starmer's latest announcements to tackle illegal immigration and small boat crossings, the figures paint a grim reality. Every day, the number of arrivals by small boat continues to rise, showing no sign of slowing down.

In fact, statistics show that this November, the UK is on track to exceed last October's record-breaking figures, highlighting the gravity of this issue and the failure by Labour to stem the tide of illegal immigration.

The UK's struggle with illegal immigration is rapidly reaching a breaking point. Our nation now stands as a leading entry point for undocumented migrants in Europe, with an estimated 1% of our population residing here illegally.

The message being sent is clear: enter the UK illegally, and you'll find a warm, safe place to stay, with minimal risk of being sent home. This situation is simply unsustainable. The British people deserve a government that is prepared to stand firm, enforce our laws, and protect our communities.

Reform UK, however, is offering a clear and achievable solution. A Reform UK government would place the well-being and security of British citizens at the forefront.

Unlike Labour, which has consistently failed to take meaningful action, a Reform UK government would adopt a zero-tolerance policy on illegal immigration.

Labour's inaction has not only failed to deter illegal immigration but, arguably, has incentivised it. This inaction has lead to a record number of deaths this year now hitting 55, including 5 last week alone.

Our plan is to pick up and return the boats to France as allowed under UN Convention of Law at Sea. This will stop boats within weeks but requires leadership not cowardice.

We believe in a Britain where our borders are secure, our communities are protected, and our resources are prioritised for British people. Anything less is a betrayal of British values and a disservice to the people of this country.

It's time for a change. It's time for leadership that prioritises Britain's future. The British people deserve better than empty promises and endless inaction.
