Adolf Hitler had a sexual disorder, bombshell DNA tests have found.
Scientists have conducted tests on a piece of cloth a piece of cloth taken from the dictator's sofa in the Führerbunker, where he took his own life.
The cloth was grabbed by Colonel Roswell P Rosengren of the US Army, one of General Eisenhower's press officers.
Experts have been able to test the blood-stained cloth to carry out examinations of Hitler's DNA.
The results will be revealed in the Channel 4 documentary Hitler's DNA: Blueprint of a Dictator, which will be aired on Saturday.
Professor Turi King, the lead geneticist on this research, said: "If he was to look at his own genetic results, he would have almost certainly have sent himself to the gas chambers."
Discussing the research, she added: "I agonised over it. But it will be done at some point and we wanted to make sure it's done in an extremely measured and rigorous fashion. Also, to not do it puts him on some sort of pedestal."
She added: "The genetics can in no way excuse what he did.
"He could have had the most boring genome on the planet. But he didn't."
