David Beckham calls out Man Utd players for 'unacceptable' behaviour

has revealed he "doesn't like what he's seeing" at Manchester United right now and believes some players are acting in an "unacceptable" manner. Beckham spent 12 years with United, playing over 250 times for the club, as well as lifting six Premier League titles.

There's certainly been a shifting of the sands since Beckham and his Class of '92 team-mates were lighting up English football. However, the former England captain has been stunned by not only the performances on the pitch, but the way United stars have acted off it.

Commenting after the club's recent tour of Asia, he told CBS Sports: "I don't like seeing what's happening at the club. It's true that it's the pitch that matters, but I see a lot of things that are not acceptable to me as a fan and a lover of Man United. You have to represent the crest. I've seen a lot of things where players didn't act in the right way.

On what it means to represent the Red Devils, Beckham continued: "We understood what it meant to play for . We understood what the badge meant. Everywhere we travelled, whether in Europe or Asia, we respected the fans. We respected the fact that they came and paid money to see us, to get an autograph or to take pictures. You have to respect that."

Things could be about to get worse for United, who only just reached the 40-point mark in the Premier League this season, given Bruno Fernandes is being linked with a move away from the Old Trafford outfit.

When quizzed on the midfielder's future, Beckham replied: "I think he wants to stay, he is saying 'no' to a lot of things, but it shows that he wants to win and he is really good and needs to be in the best league in the world.

"Yes [we can turn down a £100m bid], we can find another way to earn money. Of course I am the manager, the coach, but sometimes it is the decision of the player, but of course I talk with him, I explain things and I just have that feeling. When you talk to someone, you have that feeling if he wants to stay."
