A fire broke out in London this afternoon with a huge plume of smoke seen for miles.
The blaze broke out in Dagenham, east London, with the thick, black cloud pictured rising above high rise tower blocks. The smoke was seen from as far away as Greenwich. The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
70 firefighters attended the scene to tame the blaze, which was in an industrial estate. The fire was eventaully brought under control with a number of firefighters staying behind to completely extinguish it.
