Brett Favre makes feelings on Elon Musk and Donald Trump crystal clear

NFL legend Brett Favre has come out in support of amidst recent attacks on his dealerships due to his involvement with DOGE and its push for widespread government job cuts. The former Green Bay Packers star expressed his sympathy for Musk, who he believes is only trying to "make the country better".

Speaking on OutKick's "The Ricky Cobb Show", Favre said: "Elon Musk, several years ago was a Democrat. They loved him. He was the most brilliant inventor, smartest guy ever, richest man in the world, he was on the pedestal. Now he's working for free and trying to make this country better. Does he need it? Does he need to do that? If you want to fly off into the sunset, buy several islands and never be heard from again, he can do that. And the same can be said for Trump.

"And so, this guy's doing it because he loves this country and people are hating him for that. I hate it for Elon but I know he's going to be OK. He's a lot smarter than all of us and he's pretty resilient. Anyone who is willing to do what he is doing for this country, deserves all the accolades that you can give him, not the negative backlash."

Amid the growing number of violent incidents targeting Tesla dealerships, including gunfire at one of the premises, the FBI has been compelled to establish a task force to tackle the rising tide of crimes against the electric vehicle giant.

The Justice Department isn't standing back either, having pressed charges against individuals accused of arson, with Attorney General Pam Bondi condemning the attacks as "domestic terrorism".

In the wake of these hostile acts, Favre didn't mince words when criticizing the actions of some extreme leftist individuals. "I just think that the left, in this case and in a lot of cases, is very evil. To even remotely attack this guy the way they have is absolutely crazy," said the 55-year-old former quarterback.

Known for his unfiltered views, just last week Favre voiced his stance on a sensitive subject by openly criticising the decision-makers involved in allowing a transgender athlete to participate in a girl's high school sports event in Oregon-a stand he took after seeing the social media footage of the event.

Musk admitted at a town hall gathering in Wisconsin on Sunday that Tesla's stock has been slashed "roughly in half" due to the onslaught on his company, acknowledging it as "a big deal."

By Monday, figures revealed a further 1.7 per cent drop in shares, and nearly a 50 per cent decrease since their December peak.
