The new BJP government in Haryana is set to hold its swearing-in ceremony on October 17 in Panchkula. This event will take place at the Dusshera ground in Panchkula Sector 5, starting at 10 AM. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with senior BJP leaders and chief ministers from various states, is expected to attend the ceremony.

Nayab Singh Saini, who took over as chief minister in March, will officially assume his role as the head of the government. The BJP made a significant impact in the recent assembly elections, winning 48 seats—11 more than the Congress. In contrast, the JJP and AAP faced substantial losses, while the INLD managed to secure only two seats.

The upcoming swearing-in ceremony marks a significant moment for the BJP as it prepares to lead Haryana with a strong mandate.

The BJP's triumph in the Haryana assembly elections was remarkable, as the party clinched 48 seats, substantially outpacing Congress, which managed to secure only 37 seats. This outcome contradicted earlier predictions that suggested a comfortable victory for Congress, as indicated by various exit polls. In contrast, the Janata Jananayak Party (JJP) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) experienced considerable setbacks, while the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) struggled to make an impact, winning just two seats. This electoral shift highlights the changing political landscape in Haryana and the growing support for the BJP among voters.
