The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is preparing to announce the NEET PG 2024 counselling schedule on its official website, mcc.nic.in. Students interested in the counselling process should frequently visit the MCC portal for the latest updates. When registration begins, candidates will need to provide their personal details, submit necessary documents, and make the required payment.

Go to the PG Medical Counselling section and click on the link for online applications. Enter the required details and log in to complete the application form. Upload all necessary documents and submit. Save a copy for future reference.

Previously, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) addressed a letter to Union Health Minister JP Nadda, emphasizing the urgent need for timely NEET PG 2024 counselling.

In their letter, the IMA expressed concern over the delays caused by an ongoing case in the Supreme Court of India. They stated, "The delay in the counselling process is causing immense distress to thousands of NEET PG aspirants across the country. These candidates, who have worked tirelessly to qualify for postgraduate medical seats, are facing prolonged uncertainty about their future due to the judicial proceedings."

The IMA also pointed out that these delays affect healthcare institutions as well, stating that "the timely induction of postgraduate students is crucial to ensure the availability of medical professionals in hospitals and medical colleges." They urged the Ministry to collaborate with the relevant authorities, including the Supreme Court, to expedite the resolution of the case and suggested that the government consider interim measures to initiate the counselling process, protecting the interests of both students and the healthcare system.
