Hoax Bomb Threats Target CRPF Schools in Delhi and Hyderabad

Several Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) schools across India, including those in Delhi and Hyderabad, received hoax bomb threats late Monday night. The CRPF school in Delhi received two threats, while the one in Hyderabad received one. The threats were sent via email to the management of these schools.

This alarming situation unfolded just a day after a significant explosion occurred at the CRPF school in Rohini's Prashant Vihar area of New Delhi on Sunday morning. Although there were no injuries reported, the blast caused damage to a signboard, hoardings of nearby shops, and window panes of parked vehicles in the vicinity.

In response to the explosion, the Delhi Police are investigating a potential Khalistani connection. They have reached out to the social messaging app Telegram for information regarding a channel that claimed the blast was retaliation against pro-Khalistan separatists, who are allegedly being targeted by Indian agents.

Police sources mentioned that CCTV footage captured a suspect near the blast site the night before the incident. More than two dozen individuals spotted in the area just before the explosion have been questioned, but no significant leads have emerged so far.

Following the blast, a post from a Telegram channel named "Justice League India" circulated on social media. The post included a video of the explosion with a watermark reading “Khalistan Zindabad.” The message stated, “If Indian coward agency and their master think they can hire filthy goons to target our members to silence our voice then they live in fools world. They can’t imagine how close we are to them and how capable we are to strike anytime.”

The police have also identified a person wearing a white T-shirt who was seen loitering at the blast site on Saturday night. However, it has not yet been confirmed whether he was involved in planting the bomb.

The area is known for its heavy foot traffic at night due to several eateries located nearby, making the investigation more critical as authorities seek to ensure public safety.
