Heavy Rain Alert: According to the Meteorological Department, heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places over Konkan and Goa, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe, coastal and south interior Karnataka during the next 24 hours. While heavy rains may occur at isolated places over Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Odisha, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha.

Heavy Rain Alert: According to the Meteorological Department, during the next 24 hours, storm winds with a speed of 40-80 kmph can blow at isolated places over Tamil Nadu, Assam and Meghalaya, Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Uttarakhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan and Goa, Mizoram, Odisha, Jharkhand, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Punjab.

There will be heavy rain in these states from 29th to 2nd June

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are expected in Telangana, North Interior Karnataka on May 29, Coastal Karnataka on May 31 and June 1, South Interior Karnataka on May 30, Kerala and Mahe on June 1 and 2. Heavy to very heavy rains are expected in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, Coastal Karnataka on May 30, Kerala and Mahe on May 31.

Extremely heavy rainfall is likely at some places over Kerala and Mahe on 29th and 30th May, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, Coastal Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka on 29th May.

Heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during 29th May to 01st June. During next 7 days, extremely heavy rainfall is very likely at isolated places over Assam and Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on 29th and 30th May, extremely heavy rainfall is very likely over Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on 30th May, extremely heavy rainfall is very likely over Arunachal Pradesh on 29th and 30th May. Exceptionally heavy rainfall is very likely at isolated places over Meghalaya on 29th and 30th May.

Thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds with speed of 40-50 kmph are likely over Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar during 29th May to 01st June and strong winds with speed of 50-60 kmph are likely over Western Madhya Pradesh on 29th May and Eastern Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh on 29th and 30th May.

There will be heavy rain in Bengal, Vidarbha and Odisha on 29 and 30 May

Heavy rainfall is likely at some places over Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh on May 29, Bihar on May 29 and 30, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha on May 30, while very heavy rainfall is likely at some places over Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha on May 29.
