Date- 6 July 1994. Place- Thane Intermediate Jail, Maharashtra. A Bollywood actor was locked behind the prison walls. A crowd of people from the Bollywood industry was seen outside the jail. There are very few people or actors who are loved by everyone. Sanjay Dutt is one of them, who was supported by the entire industry during his bad times. This is about the time when bomb blasts took place in Mumbai in 1993 and at the same time illegal weapons were found in Sanjay's house. He had to go to jail on charges of possessing illegal weapons. Sanjay Dutt arrested

If we talk about the whole case, then 12 March 1993 was a Friday. The bomb blast shook the whole country. There was chaos in Mumbai. About 257 people lost their lives in the bomb blast. More than 1000 people were injured in it. On 19 July, i.e. 7 days after the blast, Sanjay Dutt's name came up in this case. The police arrested Sanjay Dutt on charges of keeping illegal weapons in the house given by Abu Salem, one of the gangsters responsible for the bomb blasts.

Had to go to jail again after one year

When Sanjay was questioned, he replied that he had kept weapons for the safety of his family. But none of the actor's explanations worked and he had to go to jail. He was released on bail on 5 May. Exactly one year later, on 4 May 1994, his bail was canceled. Many more charges were leveled against him. Sanjay had to go to jail again. As soon as this news came out, all the stars stopped their activities.

All the stars gathered in one place held a meeting and got thousands of posters printed. On May 6, the actors reached outside the Thane jail. It is believed that this was the first time when so many Bollywood stars were seen standing together and creating a scene outside the police.
