26 people died after drinking poisonous alcohol in Iran amid war, hundreds admitted to hospital

At least 26 people have died in Iran after drinking poisonous alcohol containing methanol. The official IRNA agency said that late on Wednesday night, men and women died due to poisonous methanol in various cities and towns of the northern provinces of Mazandaran and Gilan and the western province of Hamadan. At the same time, hundreds of people had to be admitted to the hospital due to poisonous alcohol. Where they are being treated.

Significant increase in deaths due to alcohol consumption

It is being said that so many people have died due to the high amount of methanol in alcohol. In recent years too, deaths due to alcohol consumption have increased significantly in Iran. In 2020, more than 700 people died in the country due to poisonous alcohol. At the same time, Iran has opened a front against Israel regarding Hezbollah. And missiles are being fired continuously.

 

On September 27, the Israeli army attacked the Hezbollah headquarters in Beirut, Lebanon. In which many top commanders including Nasrallah were killed. At the same time, two days later, i.e. on October 1, Iran attacked Israel. Iran intruded into Israeli airspace at night with about 200 hypersonic and ballistic missiles and carried out rapid attacks.

Israel accused of tampering with satellite images

However, according to Israel, it had neutralized almost all the missiles before they fell to the ground. According to the Israeli army, only one of its citizens died in this attack. At the same time, Iran's security agencies have also fueled this claim and accused Israel of tampering with satellite images.

Iran's security agencies say that Israel is trying to hide this by manipulating satellite images. Iran claims that 90 percent of its missiles have hit the right targets. Iran says that these Israeli airbases have been damaged in its attack on October 1.
