KTM India has launched the 2025 RC 200 motorcycle in the Indian market without any noise. Its price has been kept at a little more than Rs 2.5 lakh. This is about Rs 12,000 more than before. In exchange for this increased price, the bike now gets a new TFT instrument cluster, which was earlier given in the KTM 390 Duke and 250 Duke. Along with this, the switchgear of the bike (buttons on the handle, etc.) has also been updated so that the new display works properly. However, the cruise control facility has not been provided yet. Recently the company has also added a new color option for this bike.
Engine Power
KTM RC 200 gets a 199.5cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine produces 24.65 bhp of power at 10,000 rpm and 19.2 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm. This bike has a 6-speed gearbox which gives a fast speed and smooth ride experience.
What's new in the features?
The biggest change is its new TFT LCD instrument cluster which now shows more information. And it also looks stylish. Apart from this, the bike now has full LED lighting, which improves visibility at night.
Frame and suspension
The RC 200 has a split tubular trellis frame, which is attached to a bolt-on subframe. At the front, it gets 43 mm diameter WP APEX upside-down forks and 10-step adjustable WP APEX mono-shock suspension at the rear, which makes riding even more comfortable.
Fuel tank, seat height, and weight
The fuel tank of this bike is 13.7 liters. The seat height is 835 mm, which is considered a bit high. The total weight of the bike is 160 kg, which is fine in this segment and does not cause much difficulty in riding.
How is the braking system?
The RC 200 has a 320 mm disc brake in the front which comes with a radial mounted caliper. There is a 230 mm disc at the rear with a floating caliper. It also has dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system). It also has a Supermoto ABS mode, which can turn off the ABS of the rear wheel. This feature is especially beneficial for stunt or track riding.
The new avatar of KTM 390 Duke
KTM has recently launched the new 2025 KTM 390 Duke in the Indian market, whose ex-showroom price has been kept at around Rs 3 lakh. This time a new color "Ebony Black" has been added to it and now a cruise control facility has also been provided in it which can be controlled with the new switchgear mounted on the handlebar. Earlier this bike came in two colors Electronic Orange and Atlantic Blue.
