A woman has tragically died in a store after falling ill in front of horrified shoppers. The clothing store was closed off last night after and paramedics were called to the scene amid concerns for the welfare of a woman, according to authorities. Witnesses reported seeing the area outside the store being cordoned off by officers and that a woman, aged 60, had fallen ill.
Greater Manchester Police sadly confirmed the woman suffered a medical episode. She was later tragically pronounced dead. No further details have been released. A cordon remained in place while emergency crews responded to the incident. An air ambulance was at the scene and landed on the nearby car park as paramedics from the North West Ambulance Service also attended.
There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident. The incident happened at Primark in Oldham, Greater , reported .
