A police hunt has been launched to find a missing baby girl who cops believe has disappeared with a homeless couple. Concerns are growing for the tot, known only as baby Angelina, after she vanished with a man and woman known as the "scooter people," authorities have confirmed.
Angelina first went missing from Hollywood in Florida back in December, but news of her disappearance has only just surfaced and been made public. It is thought the youngster is with her homeless mother and father. They are Samantha Feliz, 19, and Alejandro Leon Jr., who is 20 years old.
The duo were given the odd nickname as they are reported to have been on electric scooters when they were last seen, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement explained. The baby was just 10 days old when she was last seen on December 16.

The Hollywood Police Department issued alerts after one of Angelina's relatives reported that they had not seen her for some time, and said her mother "made unsettling statements".
A spokesman for the force said: "Detectives have been working diligently to find the mother and father who are both experiencing homelessness."
Feliz is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 110 pounds, with brown hair and eyes. Leon is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, also with brown hair and eyes, according to the Miami Herald.
Anyone with information about the family or child is asked to call the Hollywood Police Department at 954-967-4636 or Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
In a post to X, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said that the suspects "may utilize electric scooters," hoping the detail may help people spot the vagrants on the streets.
They continued: "Due to an ongoing investigation, this case has been upgraded to a missing child alter. If located, DO NOT APPROACH."
