Piers Morgan and MMA star Dillon Danis have challenged Jake Paul and his brother Logan to a “double header” fight.
The 'Problem Child' returned to the ring last weekend for the first time since defeating Mike Tyson. Paul scored a dominant win on his return against former middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Following the win, the 28-year-old has now been placed in the top 15 by the WBA in the cruiserweight division.
Paul is now setting his sights on a potential showdown with either Gilberto Ramirez or Badou Jack as well as Anthony Joshua, Tommy Fury and Gervonta Davis. Perhaps the biggest talking point leading up to Saturday night's showcase was the American's argument with Morgan.
Morgan questioned the social media sensation's boxing credentials as well as his fight with Tyson back in November. After exchanging verbal jabs, Paul stormed off the interview. Just days later, Morgan, 60, has sensationally challenged the 'Problem Child' to a fight in the ring.

Speaking on his show - - he said: "I’ve been doing boxing training now for a few months... I'm in his right age wheelhouse, I'm 60-years-old with zero professional boxing experience, so I’m pretty much his perfect target for his next fight!” He added: “I think we should suggest a double header - you have the re-match with Logan, which would be the real fight between two proper fighters, and I will take on Jake Paul, in a pay per view to end all pay per views! I fancy my chances, I honestly would.
Danis hilariously replied: "I do too but don’t think you’re old enough for him," before adding he would be up for the double header. “I think Logan is a better boxer than him, I've been through my s*** after losing to Logan… Jake sucks and Jake knows that," he said. "These guys, I knew them before they did boxing, he was such a wannabee…He is trying to be something he is not, you know.” Danis added: “He's trash, I will fight him MMA, any rules that he wants.”
After the cruiserweight contest on Saturday night, Morgan took to social media to brand Paul's latest win in the ring a "farce." He posted: "I had a better fight with Jake Paul on Thursday than the unwatchable farce that took place tonight. The guy’s lining his pockets with buckets of $$$$ - but he’s killing boxing with this boring staged bulls*** against older fighters way past their prime."
Paul did not appreciate the post and has now threatened to sue the journalist. The 28-year-old wrote: "After years of letting it slide as just 'haters being haters', I have asked my team to vigorously go after anyone who makes up lies about my boxing career. Expect to get served you pigs." The American's business partner, Nakisa Bidarian, also called Morgan out for his comments, calling them 'baseless and irresponsible'.
"Last night’s fight vs. Chavez Jr. was a fully sanctioned 10-round cruiserweight bout, officiated by the California State Athletic Commission with official judges," he claimed, adding there was 'no staging/rigging' at all. He added: "To say otherwise not only undermines the integrity of the sport, but is defamatory and causes reputational damage to MVP, Jake Paul, and the Commission. Enough is enough. We will be exploring all options, including legal action, to hold accountable those spreading such deliberate and harmful lies."
Reacting to Paul's threat, Morgan said on his show - which was uploaded on Monday evening: “He’s now threatening to sue me! He is choosing opponents who are not at their peak, they are way past their peak, they are either much older or from other disciplines or whatever. He is staging events, they are entering on a certain level, he is making a tonne of money but the idea that these are doing anything other than damaging the integrity of boxing, I think is for the birds.”
He added: “He sounds very rattled… I don’t hate him at all… I don’t mind being called a pig by Jake Paul, he seems to be a world authority of being a rude pig. Having just listed his entire boxing career record, I would just like him to just accept and acknowledge that he is not a real boxer, having really challenging fights, what he is, is someone who has latched on to turning boxing into a form of entertainment, light entertainment. That’s what it is. He’s making a tonne of money, he should just be more open about it."
