Liverpool and AC Milan are set to clash this weekend, as the Reds kick off their pre-season tour of Hong Kong and Japan. Arne Slot's Premier League title-winning side initially kicked off their preparations for 2025/26 with a friendly against Preston at Deepdale earlier this month in a fixture they ran out 3-1 winners thanks to goals from Conor Bradley, Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo.
Liam Lindsay's late strike came as all but a consolation for the Lilywhites during the clash, as Paul Heckingbottom's side earned valuable minutes in their legs ahead of their own Championship campaign this coming season.
Slot has been very active this summer, utilising the transfer window to welcome a whole host of fresh talent to Anfield. The Reds wasted little time in activating Jeremie Frimpong's £29.5million release clause after losing Trent Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid, before securing his Bayer Leverkusen team-mate, Florian Wirtz, in a club-record £116m move soon after.

Liverpool's third signing of the summer then came in the form of left-back Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth in a £40m deal, before Hugo Ekitike completed a £79m move, including add-ons, from Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday. And many fans will hope to catch a glimpse of their new acquisitions when Liverpool face AC Milan this weekend in Hong Kong.
The game is one that supporters can even watch without having to pay a penny. Here, Mirror Football breaks down all of the details...
