Caroline Stanbury knows how to keep the drama sparkling. From her days as the ultimate London socialite to taking Dubai by storm on The Real Housewives of Dubai, Stanbury has cemented her status as one of the most glamorous – and outspoken – stars in the Housewives universe.
And now, in an exclusive interview, Caroline dishes on friendships, feuds, and why she thinks age-gap relationships are fabulous.
For anyone who’s been living under a rock (or perhaps just avoiding luxury reality TV), Caroline first shot to fame on Bravo’s Ladies of London, before joining The Real Housewives of Dubai as a key cast member. Known for her razor-sharp wit, enviable wardrobe, and brutally honest opinions, Stanbury is reality TV gold.

Speaking about her time on the Dubai series, in association with Buzz Bingo, Caroline admitted she faced a unique challenge: “For Housewives of Dubai, I was the only one that had done reality TV before, which they didn’t love. I was under the microscope from the beginning,” she revealed.
Despite the pressure, she’s formed some unexpected friendships: “Weirdly, having gone into it thinking ‘hell would have to freeze over before I ever speak to Chanel Ayan,’ she’s probably the closest person to me now. We’re really funny together – the way we look and act is comical, but it works.”
It’s this unpredictability that keeps Housewives fans hooked – and Caroline agrees: “Things change at lightning speed. Sometimes the person you think is your savior becomes your biggest enemy. You just never know. Keep your cards close to your chest.”
And speaking of cards on the table, what about the new chapter in London? The much-anticipated Real Housewives of London reboot has fans buzzing – and Caroline had plenty to say about potential drama.
When asked about Juliet Angus and where she might fit in, Caroline didn’t hold back, saying: “I think, probably, she’s gonna end up closest with Juliet [Mayhew]. I think it’s no secret that her and Amanda Cronin had a few issues from before, and I think that’s all resurfaced. Whether they move on or not, it always has to come out. That’s going to be quite uncomfortable for both of them.”
If you’ve watched enough Housewives, you know where there’s history, there’s heat – and Stanbury predicts fireworks. “When you’ve got a group of women like that, there’s no way of controlling reactions. You may think you’re right, but the rest of the girls might not agree. Strong women double down – they don’t hug it out.”

As for her dream castmates? Caroline drops some big names: “I’m besties with Larsa Pippen and Stephanie Shojaee, and I love Denise Richards – she’s TV gold. Meredith Marks is a very good friend, too. If you took a few of us and put us on a show, it’d be brilliant.”
But beyond the drama, Caroline also opens up about her much-talked-about relationship with husband Sergio, who is 19 years her junior. The glamorous couple has faced endless chatter about their age gap, but Caroline is unbothered: “I think it’s bloody great.
More women should know about it. We’ve been together seven years, and I feel less insecure with him than with men my own age. He’s made me feel younger and more special.”
And in true Stanbury style, she ends on an empowering note: “We know who we are and what we want. Young men see that as empowering. Plus, we’re not bitter – life hasn’t bit them yet!”
