Worried Google searchesSuggesting that Betsy had been growing increasingly concerned about her symptoms, police found open for Covid symptoms on her laptop while searching their home. The open bookmarks were dated February 8 and 12 - the day she is believed to have died. They revealed the two specific symptoms she was battling - which we now know were caused by the hantavirus.
Her searches included whether Covid cause cause dizziness or nosebleeds. She specifically searched: "can Covid cause dizziness?", as well as "Flu and nosebleeds".
Intense are one of the key features of hantavirus, developing in about half of all patients. Nosebleeds, however, aren't as common.
One of the Betsy's final emails was sent to her masseuse on February 11; roughly a day before she eventually died. She was messaging to postpone her massage appointment, owing to her ongoing symptoms.
She still believed they might've been caused by coronavirus, but said she'd tested negative. Betsy told her masseuse that Gene had woken up with flu or cold-like symptoms, but that he also tested negative. She wanted to cancel the appointment "out of an abundance of caution".
On February 11, Betsy also headed over to Amazon to order some oxygen canisters. They were believed to be ordered for "respiratory support", suggesting she - or Gene - was struggling to breathe.
Some companies claim that regularly using oxygen canister can help to reduce fatigue, while also providing a natural detox.
Medication sprawlThe newly released photos from inside the Hackman household showed a wild sprawl of medication across the bathroom sink cabinet.
There were two medication canisters at the forefront of the cabinet; one of which was opened, with several tablets on the surface next to it.
At least two more medication canisters were spotted in a partially open drawer underneath. Face creams, make-up, stationery, old notes, empty toothpaste wrappers, and even a trophy were left on the work surface by the sink.
Betsy's last public appearance was caught on CCTV inside a supermarket on February 11.
She was seen wearing a black face mask inside a Sprouts Grocery Market store in Sante Fe at about 4pm. She was later seen inside a nearby Shine Pet Food store.
The new footage shows that Betsy was wearing blue jeans, a scarf and a coat, as well as a black face mask as she made her way around the store.
Sweet love notesNotes have been released which showed their devotion to each other. The pair, who married in 1991, had been communicating in the sweet handwritten messages. The actor was always seen to sign off: "Love, G."

While it's unclear the date of he notes, Gene is seen to have penned the touching messages to his "lovely girl" Betsy. One note read: "Morning lovely girl, thinking of you and the other little guys. Love G."
In another, Gene appears to have acknowledged his health struggles. However, he seems to try to make light of the situation. He wrote: "Ho, Ho, I am off to see the Wizard, the Wizz of Achie, Pokie.
"She stabs me here and stabs me there, she stabs me almost everywhere (almost). But I'll survive because after I am still alive. (But some times just barely). Love G."
In another, he wrote: "I'm going down to that building out past the hot water place where you sit, and do whatever it is that people are supposed to do in such a building - maybe I'll remember once I get down there."
Rat infestationA health assessment carried out by the New Mexico Department of Public Health a week after the bodies were discovered found dead rodents and their nests in 'eight detached outbuildings' on the Hackman property. It's said this made their for the deadly hantavirus, according to TMZ.
Typically, the lethal hantavirus is spread through rodent urine and droppings that someone later comes into contact with. Droppings were discovered in three garages, two casitas, and three sheds at Gene and Betsy's huge property.
According to the American publication, inspectors found a live rodent, a dead rodent and a rodent nest in three additional garages. The health assessment was carried out to ensure the safety of first responders or others who might visit the property from the virus.
During a press conference in March, Dr Heather Jarrell, chief medical examiner for New Mexico, explained it was "reasonable to conclude" that Betsy died of hantavirus pulmonary syndrome on February 11 at the couple’s home in Santa Fe.
