People outside the stadium were seen running away as police moved towards the vehicle. The incident, which occurred before kick off, eventually led to the Spanish top-flight game being paused briefly, though play quickly resumed when it emerged nobody was seriously hurt.

The same report goes on to state that according to Catalan police, the incident was an accident and occurred when a female driver lost control of her vehicle.
