Amanda Owen, the star of Our Yorkshire Farm, has given fans a rare glimpse into her bustling family life on the farm, admitting there's "never a dull moment".

The mum-of-nine, who shot to fame as The Yorkshire Shepherdess on social media, regularly updates her followers about their daily life on the farm with her ex-husband Clive and their nine children.

In a recent post, she shared: "And back home and to ewe...... As always the scenery is stunning and the company second to none. Never a dull moment. Thank goodness."

One fan commented: "Beautiful family and photos! Living the best life in a gorgeous part of country," reports the Manchester Evening News.

"You girls are so alike," another said.

"You are wonderful," a third wrote, while someone else said: "It's beautiful."

Earlier this summer, Amanda spoke about her children's education, receiving praise from fans after writing on Instagram with pictures of her daughters on the farm, feeding chickens, riding horses, and taking a dip in a river: "There's schooling and there's schooling.

"I know that they'll go into class with a faint whiff of horse and scurf on their socks but they'll also have big smiles and a story to tell."

One fan wrote: "Your kids are having a wonderful childhood."

Another added: "What they learn from the farm far surpasses anything learnt from a classroom, Fantastic family you have."

She later revealed that the "chaos" of her life on the farm had contributed to her children's book.

During an appearance on ITV's Lorraine last week, she spoke about her new book, Christmas Tales From The Farm, the first of seven children's books she is set to release, having already written five, with her most recent, Celebrating The Seasons, published in 2021.

Amanda revealed to Lorraine Kelly that her children are the "inspiration" behind her book, as it incorporates the "chaos" on her farm.

"They are the stories, it encompasses everything on the farm and wouldn't be possible without the chaos of the children," she said.

She then revealed, laughing: "You're going to say, have my children read it? And literally, as I came here, they sent me a little message saying 'Happy publication day', and there was a video that I don't know if I dare put out.

"But it said, for your book launch, and they had launched it across the yard towards a goat that had gone into one of the children's sandwich boxes! They were weaponising it!"

Our Yorkshire Farm is available to watch on 5.
