Abbey Clancy says 'we're done' in family life confession

Abbey Clancy said “we’re done” to Peter Crouch as she shared an insight into the couple’s home life. Model Abbey and former England footballer Peter have been together for over two decades now.

The pair share four children, Sophia Ruby, Liberty Rose, Johnny and Jack, together. They regularly share the highs and lows of married life together on their podcast, The Therapy Crouch.

On a recent episode Abbey and Peter both revealed their frustration with the school summer holidays. Peter, 44, said: “I can’t wait for this f*****g summer to be over.”

To which 39-year-old Abbey replied: “Oh yeah, kids, we’re done with the kids. It’s just long.”

It came as Abbey revealed their son Jack, wants to get a pet lizard. While the model hoped the children would “forget about” it, husband Peter feared that wouldn’t be the case.

She went on to say the family’s Surrey home wouldn’t have space for new pets because of the “reno” she was planning. Peter said: “There were a couple of things, she said she wanted to change a few cupboards, I said, ‘Yeah, that sounds fine’, now it’s a complete redecoration.”

Abbey explained she wanted their family home to be “perfect”. She replied: “I just think if we’re not going to move, we should just do it once and do it perfect, do it great.”

Peter conceded that Abbey keeps giving him an “ultimatum” to move house or redecorate. Abbey explained she wants the home redecorated for when the children grow up.

Former Liverpool forward Peter and Abbey met in a bar in 2005. Recalling how they met during an interview on Good Morning Britain, Abbey said: “When we first met, he begged me for my number and then I went to the loo or the bar, and when I came back, he was talking to another girl. I was like, ‘How dare you?’”

Peter went on to say he was “just talking” to the other girl but Abbey asked for her number back. He added: “I said, ‘You can’t give someone your number and then take it back’.”

Despite the initial bump in the road, their relationship blossomed and the couple tied the knot on June 30, 2011. According to OK!, the family live in a “magical” mansion complete with its own cinema room and a huge garden.

The sprawling mansion regularly features on Abbey’s social media feeds. Fans have seen glimpses of Peter working at his large wooden desk, complete with football trophy, as well as enjoying the property’s outdoor swimming pool and wooden play area.

Abbey says the couple initially moved into the home when they had just one child, only to have seen their family grow considerably since.
