YouTube has apologized to all creators for a big mistake. Recently, YouTube faced heavy criticism from creators and subscribers after banning channels and canceling subscriptions due to a fault in its system. The platform has apologized for this and said that work is being done rapidly to fix the problem.

Channels started getting banned suddenly.
Last week, YouTube acknowledged the problem on X (formerly Twitter) and informed users that many channels were mistakenly marked under "spam and fraudulent practices" after which they were banned, although the ban was later lifted. Millions of creators have been troubled due to this bug. YouTube said that it is investigating the problem and working on restoring the affected accounts.

Premium subscription also ended.
This problem was not limited to content creators, some YouTube Premium subscribers also talked about losing access to their paid accounts, which include YouTube Music and YouTube TV services.

Issue resolved
YouTube posted an update on X saying the issue has been resolved. However, it was not clear how many creators were affected or how the mistake occurred. In an apology on its help site, YouTube assured users that they are working on restoring channel access and subscriptions. YouTube said, "This is our mistake and we are deeply sorry for this."
