Vaidyanath Dham
Vaidyanath Dham Jyotirlinga, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Shivaji, is located in Deoghar, Jharkhand. Nandan Pahad, Satsang Ashram, and Jai Durga Shaktipeeth, one of the Shaktipeeths of Mata, are located here. The heart of Mata Sati fell here, due to which this place is also known as 'Hard Peeth'. Its Shakti is Jai Durga and Shiva is called Vaidyanath. Baidyanath Dham has the ninth Jyotirlinga among the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shankar. Here there is also Shakti Peeth along with Jyotirlinga. This is the reason why this place is also called 'Hridaya Peeth' or 'Hard Peeth'.

Ranchi
Ranchi is an attractive tourist destination among the major cities of Jharkhand state and it is also the capital of Jharkhand state. Ranchi, famous as the city of waterfalls, is located at an altitude of about 700 meters above sea level. Let us tell you that Ranchi city once had the honor of becoming the summer capital of Bihar state. The major attractions of Ranchi include Tagore Hill, Hudru Falls, Ranchi Hill Station, Kanke Dam, Hatia Museum, Tribal Research Institute, etc.

Shikharji
This place is one of the major pilgrimages of Jainism. It is said that 24 Jain Tirthankaras attained salvation here on the Parasnath hill. Its peak is called Shikharji. It is wonderful to see greenery and high mountains all around.

Chhinnamastike Temple
This temple of Maa Chhinnamastike is located at the confluence of the Bhairavi-Bheda and Damodar rivers in Rajrappa, about 79 kilometers from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. Chhinnamastika of Rajrappa is counted among the 52 Shaktipeeths. This temple is said to be about 6000 years old. Along with this, there is a very ancient temple in a place called Nagar on NH-99 Ranchi road between Balumath and industrial town Chandwa, which is dedicated to Bhagwati Ugratara. This is a Shaktipeeth. It is believed that this temple is about a thousand years old. There are caves of Maa Bhramari Devi on a mountain called Chutubaag situated on the southern and western corner of Maa Bhagwati Ubharatdara, where water keeps dripping drop by drop at many places. It is said that there is a Satyug banana tree about seventy feet below, which is still green despite being many years old. It also bears fruit.

Deoghar

Deoghar, one of the major tourist attractions of Jharkhand state, is a major religious place which is known for one of the 12 Jyotirlinga temples of Lord Shiva. The temple of Deoghar is famous by the name of Lord Baidyanath. The glory of Deoghar Baidyanath Dham is more in the month of Shravan according to the lunar calendar of Hinduism. The major attractions of Deoghar include Baidyanath Dham, Nandan Pahad, Satsang Ashram etc.

Lodh Waterfall

This waterfall falls from a height of 144 feet and is located on a tributary of the Suvarnarekha River near Taimara village of Ranchi district. Dasham Waterfall with its rocky slopes is a great destination that a large number of tourists go to visit. Lodh Waterfall is the highest falling fall in Jharkhand, which is located on the Budha River. It falls from a height of about 450 meters. It is located 14 km from Mahuadan in Latehar district.

Jamshedpur
Jamshedpur, one of the places to visit in Jharkhand, is the biggest and most important tourist destination of Jharkhand. This attractive city Jamshedpur was named after Jamshedji Tata in 1919. The eighth largest steel manufacturing company in the world is located in Jamshedpur City. The major attractions of Jamshedpur include Jubilee Park, Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary Tata Steel Zoological Park, etc.

Betla National Park
Betla National Park was built in the Latehar district of Jharkhand to protect tigers. Betla National Park, established in 1974, is one of the first tiger reserves in India. This park is spread over about 18 to 20 km, which thrills tourists to roam for a long time. But it becomes very dark in the evening, due to which tourists are brought back before it gets dark. Many facilities are provided at the departmental level from the point of view of convenience and safety of tourists. These include the availability of vehicles at reasonable rates as well as elephant rides.
