In an OTP scam, cyber criminals say through phone calls and messages that you have received OTP by mistake. For this, they resort to a link or sometimes phishing.

In third-party app scams, cyber criminals ask to download an app on the phone. Then they hack or control the device through the app. To avoid any scam, always keep the security of your device updated. Also, do not click on any link coming through unknown calls or messages. Do not share your personal and banking details on social media, such as email, OTP, card details, etc.
