Cybercriminals make victims in this way.
In OTP fraud, cyber criminals take the help of bank toll-free numbers.
In many cases, cybercriminals introduce themselves as an officer of a financial institution.
In many cases, the cybercriminal introduces himself as a police officer.
Cybercriminals steal people's credit and debit card details, card numbers, CVV numbers, OTP numbers, and sensitive information.

Do not share personal information with anyone on phone calls or messages. Such as OTP, card number, card expiry date CVV number etc.

If you get a call from an unknown number and are tempted by a cashback or discount offer, then you need to be careful, it can be a fraud.

Verify it properly before sharing bank details with anyone. However, personal information is never asked by the bank.
