According to the woman, in the name of investigation, the inspector started blackmailing her. The woman told that the inspector told her on the phone, "A case has been filed against you, what should be done?" The woman replied to him that she did not do anything wrong, and if a case is filed, so be it. On this, the inspector allegedly said that if she 'cooperates' then he will not have any problem.

Audio of the inspector's conversation goes viral

The woman recorded her conversation with the inspector and made it viral on social media. In this audio clip, inspector Abhay Singh can be heard talking obscenely to the woman. The inspector told the woman that since her husband is out, she should befriend him and call him whenever she feels like it. The inspector also said that the woman's 'burden' is now on him, and he will not let her worry about anything. As soon as this audio went viral, it became a topic of discussion in the police department and action is being demanded against the inspector.

The woman pleaded to the SP for justice

After the audio went viral, the woman reached the City SP office and sought justice. She submitted a written application in which she mentioned that her husband was abroad and that her cousin brother-in-law used to beat her. When she went to the police station to complain about this, the inspector tried to take advantage of her situation and started blackmailing her. The woman urged the SP, "Sir, get me justice."

City SP Dr. K. Ramdas has taken the matter seriously. He has said that the authenticity of the viral audio will be checked first. The SP said that the DSP has been ordered to investigate the audio, and its report will come soon. Further action will be taken on the basis of the report. The SP said that if the audio is confirmed, strict action will be taken against the guilty inspector.
