"We are working on 'Jannat 3'. But we don’t want to rush into it. When we’re confident that we have a script that not only lives up to the previous parts but also adds something meaningful, only then will we go ahead with the official announcement."

His statement reflects a quality-over-quantity approach, suggesting the actor is keen to deliver a worthy continuation rather than a rushed sequel made just for the sake of nostalgia.

'Awarapan 2' to Start Filming in July 2025

Alongside the ‘Jannat 3’ revelation, Emraan also shared an important update about ‘Awarapan 2’. In a recent podcast with Ranveer Allahbadia, the actor revealed that filming for the sequel is set to begin in July 2025. The much-awaited film will officially hit theatres on April 3, 2026.

The teaser of Awarapan 2 was released on March 24 this year. In the announcement video, Emraan is seen on a boat, gazing into the sunset. The clip also features nostalgic flashbacks from the first film, including emotional moments with Shriya Saran, further heightening fans’ curiosity.
