Spreading fake news is a crime in itself. But if you spread the news of a bomb, then it is also very dangerous. This not only causes a lot of damage to the government but also to the citizens of the country. In such a case, the person giving false threats or spreading rumors can be jailed for up to 10 years.
Along with this, a heavy fine can also be imposed in such cases. If the situation is more serious, then if the culprit is found guilty, a case can be registered under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA).
Will not be able to fly in a plane for 5 years
If seen from the last few days. Many false rumors of bombs being in the plane have been spread. The police have also arrested many people in these cases. But despite this, people are not stopping their antics. That is why now Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) DG Zulfikar Hasan has taken a big decision and informed about this.
He said that if anyone is found guilty in such cases, action will be taken against him and the culprits spreading false threats and rumors will be put on the no-fly list for 5 years. That is, these people will not be able to travel on any flight for 5 years.
