Jaipur: Along with an offline campaign to generate public support on One Nation One Election (ONOE), the Rajasthan BJP has gone digital on this as well. A QR code has been launched by the party. By scanning this, one can register his support for ONOE.
Launching the QR code in the party office, the state president of BJP, Madan Rathore said that “One Nation, One Election” is not just a political idea, but a revolutionary step towards strengthening the democratic system of the country and giving stability to the governance system.
“This reform is not only the responsibility of the government or any political party, but it is the collective responsibility of the entire country. Unless the support and cooperation of the public, no such reform can be successful at the ground level,” said Rathore appealing the citizens, media, social organizations, political parties and democratic institutions to raise awareness about this initiative.
The State Convenor of “One Nation, One Election” campaign of the party, Sunil Bhargava said that through the digital version, the people can register their support by scanning the QR code, which will ensure widespread public participation.
Notably, an intense offline campaign is being run by the party by holding workshops and meetings with different sections of the society to generate public support for ONOE, but looking at the limited reach of the offline campaign, the party has come up with this digital version.
