Openers Aiden Markram and Mitchell Marsh gave their team a solid start, with Markram contributing 52 runs off 33 balls, including 2 boundaries and 3 sixes. Marsh, providing steady support at the other end, added 45 runs off 36 balls, which included 3 boundaries and a six.

However, despite their solid start, the LSG middle-order struggled to accelerate, losing wickets at crucial moments. The Delhi bowlers kept things tight, with Mukesh Kumar emerging as the standout performer. The pacer was in brilliant form, taking 4 wickets for 33 runs in his 4 overs, effectively restricting LSG's progress in the latter stages of their innings.

In response, Delhi Capitals showed their batting prowess by comfortably chasing down the target of 160. Opener Abishek Porel was in top form, scoring a vital 51 runs off 36 balls, including 5 boundaries and a six. His steady innings provided the perfect foundation for DC’s chase. Delhi’s chase was always under control, with the required run rate staying well within reach. Despite some late resistance from LSG, Delhi reached 161/2 in 17.5 overs, sealing the victory by 8 wickets. Though Delhi's chase was smooth, LSG did have a bright spot with the ball. Aiden Markram was the pick of the bowlers for the Super Giants, taking 2 wickets for 30 runs in 3 overs. His efforts were valiant, but the target was always a step too far for his team to defend.
