Navratri is in full swing. During the nine days of Navratri, one should eat satvik food and avoid excessive fried foods. If you're fasting, you might want to try Sama rice dhokla for a snack. It's made just like regular dhokla. It's light and full of flavor and energy. It doesn't require much effort to make. It's easy to make and tastes great. Everyone in the family will love it. Its flavor is such that it compels you to ask for it again and again. It's not meant to be consumed only during fasting; you can enjoy it on other days as well.

Ingredients
1 bowl of sama rice
1 bowl of sago
1 bowl of yogurt
2 teaspoons of ground cumin
1 teaspoon of cumin
10-12 curry leaves
1 teaspoon of ground green chilies
A pinch of baking soda
Half a bowl of finely chopped coriander
Recipe
First, grind the sama rice in a mixer and transfer it to a bowl. Add the sago to a pan and fry for 1-2 minutes.
Now, transfer the sago and finely ground sama rice to a bowl.
Add 1 teaspoon of finely ground green chilies, 1 teaspoon of ground ginger, 2 cups of yogurt, and salt to taste, and mix well.
Now, add water to the mixture little by little to form a batter. Its consistency should be like idli batter.
Once the batter is ready, let it sit for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, place the pan on the stove, add 2 glasses of water, and heat it.
Now take a plate smaller than the pan and grease it with oil. Spread the batter all over the plate.

Now, place a bowl in the center of the pan and place this plate on top of it. Cover it with another plate.
Leave the pan on low heat for 15-20 minutes. The dhokla will be ready. Cut the dhokla into square shapes and transfer it to a separate plate.
Now, heat 2 teaspoons of oil in a pan, add long green chilies, 2 teaspoons of cumin seeds, and curry leaves, and fry them.
Now pour this tempering over the dhokla. Serve with green chutney.
