A Ferrari 458 Spider, owned by 33-year-old music producer Honkon, caught fire on the road after just an hour of driving. According to The Sun, the incident left the owner heartbroken, as he had waited more than 10 years to own the car, valued at over Rs 2.5 crore.

The car's owner spent ten years working toward his dream, which was realised when he drove his new Ferrari out of the dealership. However, things took a turn after just an hour of driving. According to The Sun, the incident happened while he was driving through Tokyo's Minato area. Honkon noticed white smoke rising from the back of the car and quickly pulled over.

In a social media post, he recounted the incident, stating, "I was really terrified it might explode."

Within minutes, the luxury car was fully engulfed in flames in the middle of the road. Onlookers filmed the white Ferrari burning, with Honkon standing nearby in shock. Bystanders slowed down, gazing at the scene in disbelief.

Firefighters arrived shortly after and managed to put out the flames within about 20 minutes. Thankfully, no injuries were reported, though the car was severely damaged and left in ruins.

According to The Sun, Tokyo authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the fire's cause, but no official explanation has been provided yet. It remains unclear whether the vehicle was insured.
