Kotak card services won't be available on these days

Kotak Mahindra Bank has announced scheduled maintenance activities that will temporarily impact certain Debit Card and Spendz Card services. The bank claims that this maintenance is aimed to enhance customer experience by upgrading and optimizing its banking systems. As per the communication from the bank, customers may experience limited access to specific card-related features during two separate time slots in April 2025.

First Maintenance on April 9, 2025

Services pertaining to Debit Cards and Spendz Cards on Mobile Banking and Net Banking will be momentarily unavailable on April 9, 2025, between 1:00 AM and 5:00 AM. Users will not be able to apply for or upgrade their Debit Card or Image Debit Card during this time. Furthermore, functions like managing card controls and accessing card details will not be available.

Second maintenance on April 12, 2025
A second maintenance window is scheduled for April 12 2025, from 1:00 AM to 4:00 AM. During this timeframe, a broader range of services will be unavailable across mobile banking, net banking, phone banking, and the Kotak website.

Features that will be affected on April 12, 2025
Affected features include transaction limit modifications, activation or deactivation of card usage, card blocking and unblocking, changing the primary account, and account linking or delinking. Customers will also be unable to request new cards, close existing cards, or register for tokenization services on Google Pay and Samsung Pay. Services related to PIN regeneration and card enquiry and verification will also be temporarily disabled.

Which services won’t be affected during Kotak bank maintenance?
Despite these service restrictions, customers can continue to transact and make purchases using their Kotak Debit Card or Spendz Card as usual. Kotak Mahindra Bank has advised customers to plan any card-related activities in advance of the scheduled downtimes to avoid inconvenience.



However, you can continue to transact or spend on your Kotak Debit Card/ Spendz Card.
