Shivajinagar (Maharashtra) [India], November 9 (ANI): NCP(SP) leader Supriya Sule has accused BJP-led government of misusing probe agencies against opposition leaders and said if a person facing allegations or charges joins the BJP, he is cleared of all cases and allegations.
Supriya Sule, MP, held a roadshow in support of Congress candidate Datta Bahirat from the Shivajinagar Assembly constituency.
"I have been seeing ICE for two years. ICE means income tax, CBI and ED and the way those who are in opposition should be ICEd from Kashmir to Kanyakumari through the invisible power. The agencies are not bad, the agencies are good, and the people working there are good. The problem is of invisible power. Ninety-five per cent of the cases are in opposition and if that person goes to BJP then all is forgiven," she said. .
Leaders of NCP(SP) have expressed confidence of Maha Vikas Agadhi's victory in the assembly polls.
The MVA coalition, comprising Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT), and the Nationalist Congress Party (SP) is seeking to oust Mahayuti alliance, which includes Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and Ajit Pawar-led NCP.
The Maharashtra assembly elections are scheduled for November 20, with votes for all 288 constituencies to be counted on November 23. (ANI)
