Surajpur (Chhattisgarh), November 10 (ANI): Two children lost their lives in an elephant attack in the Premnagar area of Surajpur district on Sunday, said an official.
Authorities have confirmed the fatalities and assured that immediate assistance has been provided to the grieving family.
The Forest Department, led by District Forest Officer (DFO) Pankaj Kumar, has offered immediate compensation to the family of the deceased.
"Two children died in an elephant attack in Surajpur. The incident occurred in the Premnagar area of Surajpur. The Forest Department has provided the bereaved family with immediate compensation," he said. (ANI)
